What has Bettie been up to?

What does Bettie have up her....? Dress?
Well, our Bettie sure has been busy...
She is about to open her 5th location in just a year and a half! The newest location will
be at Hoffman's Playland in Loudonville! Due to open the beginning of June it will be
a fun filled and retro inspired location with our cupcakes, coffee and cupcake ice cream available
year round!

Next, we are happy to announce we will be opening in Saratoga on Broadway the beginning of July!
Yes, we can't wait to have a storefront and patio area right in the heart of Saratoga where Maestro's currently is!

Bettie has been busy showing International Reality TV stars how to frost cupcakes too- watch the clip here:
See more of our videos on our Youtube Channel: BettiesCakes

She is also designing a PINUP CUPCAKE line of clothing which will be shown on the runway on Friday, May 20th
at Proctors at 7pm! This is a free show so we encourage you to come by and show Bettie some love!
Stay tuned for our new Bettie Tank tops, Tees, Baby Bibs & Onesies as well!

Also, in case you haven't already heard - we have CUPCAKE ICE CREAM which we
make from scratch using our delish gourmet cupcakes! With flavors like Bettie's 3 Ring Circus (Cotton Candy
flavored ice cream with Circus Peanuts, Vanilla Cupcakes, Sprinkles & Caramel Popcorn)
or Red Velvet, Red Carpet and Samoa!

Lastly, we now have a new fancy dancy website that allows for online orders! It is
still a work in progress and Bettie is taking new pix daily to upload onto the site so be
sure to check back often!

We are very excited to be the Capital District's choice for scratch cupcakes with no preservatives
or trans fats and the very first to bring mobile cupcake vending to the area!
Thank you for all of your support!

OH MY, Bettie you are a sweet scientist!

Bettie has gone creative again with her newest invention -
She takes her gourmet cupcakes, buttercream and other fixings and blends them into her fresh creamy ice cream that she makes from scratch using real heavy cream and sugar! What you get is flavorful chunks of cupcake or sweet bits of buttecream and unique flavors!
Just like our Cupcake flavors change every week, so will our ice cream flavors so keep stopping back to see what Bettie is whipping up~

The Cupcake Ice Cream will be available at our Saratoga Cupcakery or at our Colonie Center Cupcake Stand. Bettie's Cakes will be opening their 5th location in Loudonville at Hoffman's Playland the end of May 2011. It will have that retro furniture you have grown to love like at our premier location in Saratoga and our signature pink & blue walls!

Bettie and Buddy posing for photos! What a great guy!
Bettie had the huge pleasure of meeting CAKE BOSS on Thursday, November 4th for his amazing show at Proctors! Bettie's Cakes was the proud sponsor of his show so Dee Dee and Cee Cee made an appearance! Buddy performed to a huge audience, decorated a wedding cake on stage and there was even a wedding proposal from someone in the audience!

Afterwards, Buddy signed autographs for what we think was 3 hours...what a guy to not turn anyone away!  His show was truly inspiring and we will continue watching his show faithfully!
